Taraji P. Henson dazzled in a grand total of 12 outfits while hosting the [/tvshowbiz/american-music-awards/index.html American Music Awards] on Sunday.
The 50-year-old actress channeled different eras and musical icons in a range of fabulous gowns and wigs as she took to the stage at the Microsoft Theater in [/news/los-angeles/index.html Los Angeles].
Following each performance and commercial break the Acrimony star would reappear to wow viewers at home with her amazing transformations.
Center stage: Taraji P. Henson looked sensational in a grand total of 12 outfits on Sunday as she hosted the 2020 AMAs
Evening chic: The actress stunned in this sheer beaded dress with thigh-high slit
But it wasn't just her outfit choices that caused a stir as she aimed to to keep things light and entertaining with her joke-filled monologues.
Towards the end of the show Taraji took a dig at President Trump and his unwillingness to accept the result of the Presidential election earlier this month.
When announcing Taylor Swift as the winner of Artist of the Year, Taraji quipped, 'The votes are in. They've all been counted, no, we ain't doing no recount.'
The What Men Want star made a spectacular entrance on the red carpet earlier in the evening.[/tvshowbiz/american-music-awards/index.html  ]
Curves: A black and white geometric dress was one of Taraji's most striking looks of the night

Taraji P. Henson was certainly the hostess with the mostest as she wowed in a staggering 12 outfits during her hosting gig at the AMAs last night.

It was hard to pick a favourite, but here at Fashion Finder HQ we are loving the statement monochrome slip dress by Area found on Moda Operandi. The spaghetti strap and cowl neck detail allows you to flash your cleavage yet remain classy in a maxi silhouette.

The cowl satin trend is the ultimate fashion statement, and the bold zig zag print gives that extra wow factor. Add a statement necklace to complete the look, and you too can look red carpet ready!

Although you can't buy Taraji's exact dress, you can shop alternatives below including gorgeous pieces from Rixo and New Look!

Despite rising COVID-19 numbers rising across the country, organizers for the award show have taken several precautions to make it as safe an event as possible.
A Dick Clark Productions spokesperson told Rolling Stone on Saturday: 'We have rigorous Covid-19 safety guidelines and protocols in place - approved by the unions and with guidance from L.A. County Department of Public Health - that are beyond what is required.'
Anyone who is entering the venue was tested in advanced and will continue to be tested throughout the production until wrap.

'When artists are not on stage singing, presenting, or accepting an award, they will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Additionally, we disinfect our set every evening and in between performances during pre-production, rehearsals and in the live show.'
